Cinemagraphs (not mine)

Cinemagraphs are animated gifs on steroids.  I really see a futre for these in mobile app advertising, or even as ads on electronic bill boards.  Check some out here.

Dale Young Nature Park

I took the family to the Daly Young Nature Park just to get out of the house for an hour or so:

We took the kids to the zoo and even though it was very hot we had a lot of fun. One of the highlights for me was the bird show

Fun In A Tree

While at the park celebrating my son's birthday the kids decided to take turns climbing up in a tree close by. I wish I had a reflector with me, but even without one I think they turned out ok:

Fun At The Bay

Over the weekend we took the kids to Mantua Bay to have some fun swimming. I took the camera with me of course and came away with two images that I really liked.

The first one is of my nephew who was playing in the sand when a butterfly came out of nowhere and almost landed on his finger:
